Our Story

Shelby Septic Services is a septic contractor based in Shelby, North Carolina, owned and operated by Matt Padgett. We install, repair, maintain, and pump septic systems for homeowners and builders across Cleveland County and the surrounding area.

Septic did not start as a separate company. It grew inside Land Pros Land Management, which has been clearing land, grading sites, and installing septic systems in this area since 2022. As the septic side kept growing, it earned its own name, its own equipment, and its own focus. Same people. Same standard. A company built specifically around septic.

Matt is certified at Grade Level IV, which is the highest installer grade North Carolina issues. It is what the state requires for systems over 1,500 gallons per day, for pretreatment components, for drip and low pressure dispersal, and for industrial process wastewater. In plain terms, there is no septic system permitted in this state that we are not certified to install. He is also a state certified point-of-sale inspector, so real estate closings get a report the state accepts.

What has not changed is how we work. We explain what we find instead of handing you a bill and a shrug. We diagnose before we quote. We build to code because the county inspector is going to check it anyway and because it is your property. And when we say we will be somewhere, we show up.
